Kilmarnock searching for consistency
Kilmarnock have not had the best of runs since returning from the international break, losing 3-1 at Hearts before drawing 2-2 with Motherwell.
Those matches were both away from home though, with their last seven fixtures at Rugby Park providing five wins and a draw, and both teams scoring on five occasions.
Indeed, both teams have also netted in seven of their last 12 outings in all competitions, while Derek McInnes’ side have kept only three clean sheets in their last 14 games.
Aberdeen out of form
While Kilmarnock have at least picked up a point since the return of the SPL, the same cannot be said for Aberdeen, who lost 3-2 to Rangers, before suffering a 3-1 reverse against St Mirren.
Both teams have in fact now scored in seven of their last nine outings, a period in which they have kept only one clean sheet.
Jim Goodwin’s side have also particularly struggled on the road, where they have won only twice and lost six times from nine games, with both teams scoring in the last four.
